My Turning Point
Until 2018, I believed entrepreneurs were nothing like me.
When my first son, Aiyden, was born in December 2017, something shifted. I knew I wanted my own law firm one day — I just hadn’t chosen the moment.
Motherhood made the decision for me.
How could I teach my son to chase his wildest dreams if I hadn’t chased mine?
By March 2018, with my infant son in his car seat beside me, I was touring commercial buildings in Fredericton. I was done playing small. I was ready to build something of my own.
The Leap of Faith
The first building I loved didn’t work out. I cried.But it wasn’t meant to.
Soon after, I found 23 Avonlea Court — the building that would change everything.
I remember holding Aiyden in front of the “Sold” sign, knowing this was the beginning of something bigger than I could see.
When I revealed the new firm name — J. Donovan Law Group — it was a defining moment. It meant standing firm in my vision, even when others weren’t ready to follow.
That day, sitting alone in my new 5,000 sq. ft. building, I had four staff member committed to join me.
It was do-or-die time.
And I chose do.
The Entrepreneurial Evolution
During that same season, I launched LGLVXN Consulting Inc., originally created as a holding company for my growing ventures.
Seven years later, LGLVXN:
- Owns 12 properties across the province
- Manages commercial and residential tenants
- Owns luxury short-term rental homes
- Operates wedding venues and officiant services
- Hosts events, conferences, and professional gatherings
What started as a necessity became a powerhouse.
And through it all, I discovered something unexpected:
I loved building businesses.
